The Vineyard
Located in Center Cambridge New York, Autumn’s Harvest Vineyard is dedicated to producing exceptional wines from our 2 acres of estate-grown, cold-climate grapes. Our passion starts with a commitment to intensive sustainable vineyard management.
Every effort is applied to grow the best quality grapes possible. Extensive canopy management is utilized to expose grape clusters to sunshine, which allows the grapes to fully ripen providing optimal flavors.
Our varities include: Petite Pearl, Marquette, Sabrevois,
LaCrescent, Briana, Itasca, and Lacrosse.
Our vineyard is managed in a sustainable manner which is healthier for the environment and produces exceptional quality grapes. Great wines begin in the
vineyard, and we take pride in our intensive hands-on approach to ensuring we produce the highest quality grapes possible.
We grow cold-climate grape varieties because they can survive winters in portions of New York where winter temperatures can dip to minus 25 degrees F or lower.
These vines are also more resistant to disease. Of equal importance, cold-climate grapes produce exceptional wines that have depth, complexity, character, and fruit-forward flavors. Red varieties have soft smooth tannins to provide a velvety mouthfeel. Tours of the vineyard are available upon request and we are happy to share our viticultural knowledge with our guests.

My Story
I am an American Wine Society certified wine judge. and have judged numerous amateur and professional wine . I have also judged several cider competitions.
I worked for NYS Fish and Wildlife for over three decades as a biologist and then manager. I had extensive experience in plant ecology and soil science which provides me with an understanding of vineyard management and production.
Before I opened Autumn's Harvest Winery I was a home wine, cider, and beer maker for many years. As my interest (one might say obsession) grew, I decided to take the next step in my education. So, I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Enology and Viticulture. I completed my coursework in 2018 and then completed an internship working in the wineries and vineyards at Fox Run Winery and Keuka Springs Winery in the Finger Lakes during 2019. In May of 2020, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the William H. Darr College of Agriculture (part of Missouri State University) with a Master's degree in Enology and Viticulture.
My experience and education provide the expertise to grow exceptional quality grapes and make distinctive high-quality wines. A combination of thoughtful stewardship, which includes always incorporating sustainable use, and scientific wine production methods form the basis of producing enjoyable wines. I handcraft small batches of distinctive and delicious wines for your drinking pleasure.
